Last Night I Had A Dream We All Died and Became Trees- The Debut JVG EP

Align CenterOut of St.Petersburg, Florida, comes this much anticipated gem. Jonathan Van Gils, a close personal friend of mine, has spent much of the last two years working on a forever changing and developing body of work. Using little more than a microkorg, a condenser mic, a guitar, a pen, and Logic, Jonathan has spent two years architecting his vision and his sound. Out of the dust of his old band, New South Whales, for which he penned most of the tunes, came this solo project.

Only a couple weeks ago Jonathan released under the JVG moniker his first mastered EP under the name "Last Night I Had A Dream We All Died and Became Trees". The EP is brief but innovative and leaves the listener taken aback. Using a variety of synths, samples, and sounds Jonathan has molded a uniquely coherent and refined four songs that will instantly capture new fans.

Distribution of the EP is uncertain as of now. If you would like to hear two tracks off the EP you can visit his myspace page, www.myspace.com/jvgmusic
